A friend asked: Can the mind reason same as the body?
I answered in the following manner and request for response from all.
The Mind is finer material and it is of the body.
The body cannot reason because it is gross matter.
The Mind reasons and controls the body through the 5 organs of skin, nose, eyes, mouth and ears which respectively are agents of the 5 senses of touch, smell, sight, taste and sound.
What more, the 5 passions of the Mind:
anger, attachment, greed, hatred and lust,
torments and enslaves the body.
Our body have no control of its own but Mind or Soul.
Reasoning belonged to the mind.
Our intellect is mind stuff.
The body is under siege of mind's agents and its passions.
In fact, the body exist for the mind's sake.
