CRAVING FOR LOVE

Anyone who truly loves themselves need not crave to be loved.

The way you love yourself so you will do to others

and others will love you in the same measure.

So, to be loved, you simply love.

The more love you give out the more love you experience.

Love is the only gift that the more you give it out,
the more it increases in its intensity.

Strong are the pangs of love

but sweet are its pains in our hearts.

We pine for love

yet we are love itself.

Perhaps, like the river that flows into the sea,

so it is, as our love seeks greater intensity of love to cling to.

Craving for love is certainly painful

yet we must find sweetness in this agonizing situation.

Craving for love may seem unserious

but that is for the onlooker.

Deep within, the flames of love cannot be extinguished

until it finds unity in higher levels that can dull its present intensity.
